Porcelain veneers
are thin, yet durable handmade porcelain shells that are placed on the front surface of your natural teeth to create a perfect smile.
At ETERNAdent, our cosmetic dentist performs a thorough analysis and measurement of your face and jaw symmetry to design your veneers. We discuss in detail with you all aspects of your smile aesthetics, your preferences, and what is possible with different procedures.
Your new veneers should match your complete facial aesthetics, giving you a natural look and aligning your teeth arch. After placing new veneers, ALL patients have reported a significant increase in self-esteem as a result of their gorgeous smile.
What does the procedure for getting veneers include? The veneers procedure typically requires two to three visits. During the initial visit, your dentist at ETERNAdent will analyze studio models and photographs, and discuss with you your expectations and desires for your new smile.
Your dentist will then remove a minimal amount of tooth structure from the front surface and take a precise impression of the prepared teeth using a high-precision silicone material. At this same visit, you will receive temporary veneers that will allow you to leave the office with a new smile while the permanent veneers are being fabricated. The temporary veneers will protect your teeth from sensitivity to cold, warm, and sour foods while also restoring your esthetics. You can speak and smile normally with the temporary veneers, but it is recommended to be more cautious when biting and chewing. Additionally, your dentist will present you with a series of before and after photos to show you what is possible with the veneers procedure. It is important to note that proper care and maintenance is required to ensure the longevity of your veneers. Regular dental check-ups and cleanings are essential, and it is recommended to avoid chewing on hard objects and biting into very hard foods such as nuts and ice. Good oral hygiene practices such as brushing and flossing twice daily will also help maintain the beauty and longevity of your veneers.
At ETERNAdent, our team will provide you with detailed instructions on how to properly care for your new veneers.
Composite Facets
We at ETERNAdent understand that our patients desire high esthetics without breaking their budget. Therefore, we offer composite veneers, also known as bonding, as an alternative procedure to achieve a natural-looking smile. This technique follows a strict protocol that ensures longevity and natural esthetics of the restoration, without requiring any tooth structure removal. During your free consultation at ETERNAdent, the dentist will evaluate your teeth and discuss the pros and cons of both porcelain and composite veneers, as well as other cosmetic dentistry options that may be suitable for your specific case. This will help you make an informed decision about which method will best achieve your desired results within your budget.
